“On site, what counts is what’s proven.”

The core bet: turn speech into structured project records while preserving the original evidence—including audio where relevant—instead of reconstructing events later.

The basic proposition is straightforward: site teams speak, and the system turns that input into structured project records. Gewerkton is designed to cover evidence, defects, daywork reports, takt, plans, models and coordination with third parties. Its intended deployment fields range from housing construction and tunnels to wind farms, data centres and industrial plants.

The company’s own line is: “On site, what counts is what’s proven.” That places the emphasis on preserving evidence from work as it happens, including the original audio where relevant, rather than reconstructing events later from notes and fragmented conversations.

One platform, three product lines

The Gewerkton platform is organised as a branded house with three product lines: Field, Studio and Cloud. Each covers a different part of the workflow, although all three are intended to operate together.

Gewerkton Field

Gewerkton Field is the voice-first construction site app. It turns dictation into evidence, defects and daywork reports, while also covering takt and portal functions. The focus is on capturing information where the work takes place, including situations in which typing a detailed record would be impractical.

The deployment examples show how that approach changes with the site. In housing and building construction, a defect can be recorded with a photo and deadline. Daywork reports can be dictated, and a signature can be collected on the device during handover. For wind farms and other renewable-energy projects, the requirements include distributed sites, rotating crews, field acceptance and offline capture in dead zones.

Infrastructure and tunnel projects present another use case. These projects can run for long periods and generate many change orders. Gewerkton’s approach connects instructions with the original audio, keeping the source material alongside the resulting record.

Gewerkton Studio

Gewerkton Studio is the browser workspace for plans and models. Where a model already exists, teams can work with it in the browser. Where there is no model, the site team can create one there.

That browser-based role matters for projects where documentation begins with incomplete or uneven source material. Studio provides the plan-and-model side of the platform without assuming that every site arrives with a finished model ready for use.

Gewerkton Cloud

Gewerkton Cloud handles operations and model or data coordination between Field, Studio and third parties. It is the connecting layer rather than a separate construction-site interface.

Data residency is presented as a choice: customers can use an EU cloud or their own infrastructure. That sits alongside the platform’s broader regional approach to AI processing and cross-border project work.

German commercial depth, global operating model

Gewerkton’s deepest commercial integration is in Germany. The platform supports GAEB, REB, XRechnung and DATEV, reflecting the market in which it was born. At the same time, its language and provider architecture is intended for projects beyond that home base.

Gewerkton — from our own media bank

The platform supports 27 content languages. This is aimed at teams working across the EU, US and Asia-Pacific, with each participant able to operate in their own language while the evidence original remains unambiguous. On projects in Asia, the stated use cases include Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese crews, with multilingual handling extending from initial capture through to the report.

This is more than a translated interface proposition. Construction projects often combine several contractors, trades and operating regions, and the record still needs to retain a clear source. Gewerkton’s model pairs multilingual output with the original evidence rather than treating translation as a replacement for it.

Data centres and industrial plants illustrate the coordination problem. Many trades may be active in parallel under tight deadlines. Gewerkton is designed to turn meeting decisions into trade-sorted task lists, giving teams a structured result from discussions that might otherwise remain scattered across personal notes or follow-up messages.

Bring your own AI, with regional choice

Gewerkton’s BYO-AI model supports 13 AI providers. Users bring their own keys and can select providers by region, with options covering the EU, US and Asia, including mainland China. The platform positions this as a way to avoid vendor lock-in while allowing provider selection to follow project or regional requirements.

That provider choice is particularly relevant to cross-border teams and projects in Asia, where language handling and data location cannot always be separated from infrastructure decisions. The platform combines selectable AI regions with the choice of an EU cloud or deployment on the user’s own infrastructure.

The result is an architecture that does not tie every project to one model provider or processing region. It also means that the AI layer is not presented as a single fixed service bundled invisibly into the product. Keys, provider and region remain choices for the user.

A tracker-free marketing site

The marketing site follows a similarly explicit infrastructure position. It is available in 27 languages, runs with zero trackers and uses no cookie banner. Its architecture is fully egress-free.

Those characteristics apply to the public-facing site rather than serving as a blanket statement about every deployment configuration. Still, they make the site itself part of the product story: language coverage and infrastructure choices are demonstrated in the way Gewerkton presents the platform, not only listed as future aims.

Gewerkton — from our own media bank

The company also maintains a media bank containing more than 51 self-produced clips and posters. That material supports the explanation of a platform spread across site capture, browser-based model work and cloud coordination.

Built by a solo founder and coding-agent fleet

Gewerkton is being built by a solo founder directing a fleet of coding agents using Codex and Claude. In one night, that fleet shipped 21 software packages. The packages were verified with negative controls and mutation tests.

The development setup is notable because the product itself covers a wide range of construction workflows, languages, integrations and deployment conditions. The reported package output provides a concrete measure of the agent-assisted development process, while the use of negative controls and mutation tests addresses verification of that work.

What is available, and what remains beta

Gewerkton is in beta now. The public beta is planned for fall 2026. Field, Studio and Cloud define the platform currently being presented: voice-first site capture in Field, plan and model work in Studio, and operational and data coordination through Cloud.

The beta status is important. Gewerkton should not be read as a finished, generally available platform simply because its scope is already broad. Its German commercial integrations, 27-language content model, 13-provider BYO-AI architecture and regional deployment choices describe what the platform is bringing into beta. The planned public beta is still ahead.

Its target environments are nevertheless clear. Wind farms require records across distributed locations and offline capture where connectivity fails. Data centres and industrial plants need coordination between numerous trades. Housing projects require defects, photos, deadlines, dictated daywork reports and on-device signatures. Tunnels and other infrastructure projects need durable records across long timelines and repeated change orders.

Across those settings, Gewerkton is making the same bet: construction documentation can begin with speech without losing the evidence, structure or regional control that complex projects require. The platform has entered beta with an unusually wide operating brief. Fall 2026 will be the next test, when the planned public beta opens that brief to broader use.
